Method v1. It uses only HIQA's published judgments, not our opinion, and is recalculated whenever a new report is published.
Marymount University Hospital & Hospice is a well-managed, clean, and spacious facility providing high-quality care for older adults, including palliative and respite care. Residents praised the kindness of staff and the active lifestyle encouraged, describing it as "active retirement at its best." The centre offers single rooms with en-suite facilities and some four-bedded rooms, with plenty of communal spaces and outdoor areas. Meals are varied and nutritious, with choices available and efforts made to improve presentation and temperature. There is a strong activities program and good access to healthcare professionals. Fire safety measures are being enhanced following a recent incident.
